We're very pleased to be able to announce today that we've signed the hugely talented author, Andrew Madigan, a two-book deal. The first of which is titled, A Nice SafePlace, and will be published in 2022.
Andrew has worked as a fraud investigator, lifeguard, janitor, rugby coach, competitive skateboarder and Bill Murray’s body double. He was also a professor of English Lit in Tokyo, Okinawa, South Korea, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and New York, but he got out of that racket and became a freelance writer/editor. His work has appeared in the Guardian, the Washington Post, Lucky Peach, The Observer, The New Haven Review, the London Magazine and other periodicals. One of his books, Dark End of the Street, is a hard-boiled detective novel that’s been translated into Spanish.
Andrew lives near Washington, DC with his wife and three daughters.
A Nice Safe Place is a literary thriller in the realm of Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and Dead End Girl by Vargus and McBain. A Nice Safe Place will be published in 2022 in both digital and print.
